Children under 14 years of age are not permitted to travel without being accompanied throughout the journey by a responsible person aged 16 years or over.
Children aged 14 - 15 years old may travel unaccompanied, as from 5am, arriving at their booked destination no later than 10pm. Unaccompanied children will be asked for proof of age or a signed letter of permission from their parent/guardian. (sms or chat based messages are not permissible)

One infant aged 0-2 travels free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Additional infants aged 0-2 must be paid for. If you are travelling with more than 1 infant aged 0-2, please book the additional infant as 'Children (3-15).

From just £2 per person per leg, you can now reserve any seat in the first five rows of our coaches.

Available on most routes, it's the best way to guarantee you'll be sat in your preferred spot.

Seat reservations are available on a wide selection of journeys on our network. You can purchase a seat reservation on the following journeys:

  • Any direct UK services to London (excluding airports)
  • London direct to any UK destination (excluding airports)
  • Any location - Heathrow Airport - Any location
  • Any location* - Gatwick Airport - Any location*
  • Any location* - Luton Airport - Any location*
  • Any location* - Stansted Airport - Any location*

Starting locations of Cross Country routes

*Excluding Stansted - London - Stansted, Gatwick - London - Gatwick and Luton Airport - London - Luton Airport.

Seat Reservations will also now be available on indirect journeys, on routes where seat reservations are normally available.

You can select a seat reservation when you purchase your journey on our website or after you have booked your journey, using My Account. To add a reservation after you’ve booked your journey, log in or sign up to My Account here where you can easily select your favourite seat. Please note this is only available for direct journeys; if you are travelling on an indirect journey and wish to add a reservation after you’ve booked, please contact us.

We recommend purchasing a seat reservation well in advance of travel to avoid disappointment as we have limited availability onboard.

Seat reservations are priced from £2 per person, per leg.

This price is in addition to your ticket price for your journey.

Seat reservations can be amended online through My Account - simply login or sign up here.

If you have booked a seat reservation on an indirect journey, please contact us to amend this.

Unfortunately, seat reservations are non-refundable and our normal terms and conditions apply. All seat reservations cannot be transferred to another service/coach on the day or once the departure time has passed.
