Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 16 or over or they will be refused travel. Proof of age may be required.

One infant aged 0-2 travels free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Additional infants aged 0-2 must be paid for. If you are travelling with more than 1 infant aged 0-2, please book the additional infant as 'Children (3-15).

Whilst you're always guaranteed a seat on our services, you can also reserve front row seats, extra legroom and premium seats to ensure an experience that meets your needs. See below for all you need to know about our seat reservation service and prepare for your most relaxing journey yet.

Standard Seat Reservations

For just £2 per person, you can now reserve any seat in the first five rows of our coaches.

Available on most routes, it's the best way to guarantee you'll be sat in your preferred spot, along with your favourite travel partner.

Extra Legroom Seat Reservation

For £3 per person, you can ensure even more comfort with our extra legroom seats.

Currently bookable on our services between Southampton and London, treat yourself and stretch out on your next journey.

Premium Seat Reservation

For just £4 per person, You can now try our Premium Seat service too!

Premium seating is available exclusively on our double-decker services between Bristol and London. The first three rows on the top deck include a table, extra legroom, further seat reclining and the best views possible. You can even ensure you'll be sat next to your friends or family members! It's a great way to enjoy the coach like never before.

Standard Seat Reservation FAQs

Is Seat reservation available on all services?

No. At present, you are able to reserve seats on selected services when travelling on the following journeys:

Any direct UK services to London (excluding airports)
London direct to any UK destination (excluding airports)
Any location - Heathrow Airport - Any location
Any location* - Gatwick Airport - Any location*
Any location* - Luton Airport - Any location*
Any location* - Stansted Airport - Any location*

*Excluding Stansted - London - Stansted, Gatwick - London - Gatwick and Luton Airport - London - Luton Airport.

We are planning to roll-out Seat Reservation across all of our services over the next few months.

Can I only reserve my seat online?

Yes. Seat reservations will only be available via our website (desktop and mobile versions) when you book your ticket online and selected to receive an e-ticket.

Do I have to reserve my seat at the same time as I book my ticket?

No. We would recommend you reserve your seat at the same time as you book your journey as seat availability is limited and the earlier you book and reserve a seat the more chance you have of getting our lowest fare and securing a specific seat.

However, as long as you have made your original journey booking via our website (desktop and mobile versions) and selected an e-ticket, you can still reserve a seat up to 24 hours before your coach is due to depart (subject to availability).

You can do this using the “Manage My Booking” feature on our website.

Do I have to pay to reserve a seat?

Yes. There is a £2 per person per journey charge for reserving a specific seat on the coach. This cost is in addition to the fare paid for the journey.

For example, if you wanted to reserve 2 seats on both legs of a return journey:

Can I amend my seat reservation?

Yes. Seat reservations can only be amended online using the “Manage My Booking” feature on our website.

What happens if I miss my coach or I want to go to an earlier service?

Seat reservations are non-refundable and our normal terms and conditions apply. Standard seat reservations cannot be transferred to another service/coach.

What if I have a complaint or want a refund?

Please contact Customer Services or call our Contact Centre on 03717 818181, our lines are open 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week.

Please note: All Standard Seat reservations are non refundable.

Extra Legroom Seat Reservation FAQs

Is Extra Legroom available on all services?

No. It is currently only available on routes between Southampton - London. There is also Standard Seat reservation available on this service.

Can I only reserve my Extra Legroom seat reservation online?

Yes. Extra legroom seat reservations will only be available via our website (desktop and mobile versions) when you book your ticket online and selected to receive an e-ticket.

Can I select and reserve Extra Legroom on the whole coach?

No. Initially only 5 rows between row 3 - 7 have Extra Legroom available.

Do I have to reserve my Extra Legroom seat at the same time as I book my ticket?

No. We would recommend you reserve your seat at the same time as you book your journey as seat availability is limited and the earlier you book and reserve a eat the more chance you have of getting our lowest fare and securing a specific seat.

Please note that reserved seats and Premium Seats are subject to availability and these options are only available up to 24 hours before you are due to travel.
