Eurolines Ski Coach - £79 return (13 destinations in the French Alps)

12 October 2005

There really is an alternative to the dreaded early morning check-in, expensive car parking, surcharges and taxes that are all part of ski holiday travel by air.

For the second year Eurolines is providing its highly competitive Eurolines Ski coach service direct from London Victoria to 13 resorts in the French Alps. All for prices starting at just £79 return.

The overnight service has a very civilised early evening departure time from central London crossing the Channel by Eurotunnel and arriving at the resorts the next morning. It means passengers have time to sleep and relax on the coach and can hit the ground running when they reach their resort.

Eurolines Managing Director John Gilbert said: "It is without doubt one of the best value deals on offer for the new ski season. There are NO hidden extras, no fuel surcharges or taxes and we don't charge for carrying skis and snowboards. We know from the success of the service last season that customers appreciate the exceptionally low price and that they want to travel with us because they are trading travel time in order to minimise travel costs."

"The service is really appealing to independent travellers and the increasingly large number of budget skiers. It has also proved popular with our holiday partners who can bring down the costs of their packages."

The 13 resorts covered by the service include: Moutiers, Les Menuire, Val Thorens, Aime, Bourg-St-Maurice, Tignes Val Claret, Val d'Isere, Chambery, Annecy, St Gervais, Chamonix, Grenoble and Argentiere.
