Departing from London Victoria Coach Station

London Victoria Coach Station is just 300 metres from the tube network, and is served by the Victoria Line, the District Line and the Circle Line. A bus stop is directly outside the coach station, and is served by many routes into the city centre, along with a nearby taxi rank.

Is it possible to buy my ticket from London to Cambridge onboard my National Express coach?

Yes you can, however it is always advisable to purchase an advance ticket as services may become full due to pre-booked customers.

To purchase a ticket onboard your coach from London to Cambridge, please be aware of the following:

  • Drivers can accept cash only. To avoid delays please ensure you have the correct change.
  • If your journey from London to Cambridge requires a change of coach, you must purchase a ticket on board each new coach.
  • Please ensure you obtain a physical ticket from the driver which you should carry at all times.
  • All our drivers should be able to sell tickets, although if there are ticketing facilities available they may refer you to the ticket office, to purchase your ticket.

In addition, you can call the National Express Contact Centre on 08717 818181 between 10am and 6pm, 7 days a week. Calls cost 13p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.



I booked a ticket but now I do not need to travel from London to Cambridge. How do I cancel or obtain a refund on my ticket?

If you wish to cancel your ticket from London to Cambridge please contact our helpline, open 8am -10pm on +44 3717818181. A refund can only be obtained on Fully Flexible ticket types cancelled 72 hours prior to your scheduled coach departure.

Our ticket types are as follows:

  • Fully Flexible fare tickets must be cancelled no less than 72 hours prior to your outward journey to qualify for a refund.
  • Standard fare tickets can only be amended; you will only be able to make changes prior to your scheduled travel dates and times and this is subject to an amendment fee.
  • Restricted fare tickets are non-amendable and non-refundable.
  • You can find out whether you chose a refundable fare type ticket in the important information section on your email confirmation.

Refund requests may be submitted by post to: Customer Relations – Refunds, National Express House, Mill Lane, Digbeth, Birmingham, B56DD.

 

How much does it cost to change the date or time on my ticket from London to Cambridge?

Depending on the ticket type purchased for your trip from London to Cambridge you may amend the time and or date of departure prior to the departure time that is currently booked on your ticket by clicking here.

You may amend the date and time of your London to Cambridge ticket without incurring an amendment fee within 1 hour of making your booking (excess fare may apply), any amendments after this time are subject to an amendment fee of £5 online or in a National Express Travelshop or Agent or £6 via the Customer Contact Centre, plus any excess fare.

Note - There are no fees applicable when amending a Fully Flexible fare.

Amendments cannot be made on cancelled or tickets where the travel time of the section you wish to change has passed.

Amendments to the arrival and/or departure locations are not possible once your ticket has been booked.

 

What do we mean by Excess Fares?

Many of our tickets are not fixed in price and are subject to change. When amending your ticket an excess fare may also be charged if there is a difference in price from your original ticket.

For example: At the time of booking your journey fare from London to Cambridge was £20, but at the time of making your amendment the journey price is £27.
Your amendment charge is £12 (£5 amendment fee (online) and £7 excess fare)

Restricted fares are discounted fare types and amendments are not possible.

 

I booked my journey from London to Cambridge but I have not received my e-ticket, what should I do?

Please check your spam or junk email folders before contacting us. Your ticket will be delivered from tickets@nationalexpress.com or sales@nationalexpress.com.

You can view and reprint your ticket for London to Cambridge online using the ‘Manage My Booking’ service at www.nationalexpress.com/myticket.
