Student Travel Survey – Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (£50 Amazon voucher)
- The promoter of the prize draw is National Express Limited of National Express House, Birmingham Coach Station, Mill Lane, Digbeth, Birmingham, England B5 6DD (“National Express”).
- This prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, except for employees of National Express and its group companies, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of this prize draw.
- The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
- All entries must be submitted via the official student survey by completion of the survey and opting into the prize draw – providing a valid surname and email address. Only one entry per person is permitted.
- The prize draw opens on 5th July 2025 and closes at midnight on 31st July 2025 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after this time will not be valid.
- The winner will be chosen at random by a computer process on 1st August 2025.
- The winner will receive a £50 Amazon.co.uk e-gift voucher. Use of the voucher is subject to Amazon’s own terms and conditions.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
- The winner will be notified by email using the contact details provided at the time of survey entry by 8th August 2025 (within 7 days of the draw date). If the winner does not respond within five (5) days of being notified, the prize will be forfeited, and National Express will be entitled to select another winner.
- The prize will be issued via digital delivery to the email address provided. No physical prize will be posted.
- National Express reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
- The decision of National Express regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- National Express must either publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, National Express will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails National Express or writes to the address above (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the Closing Date. If you object to your surname and county being published or made available, please notify National Express at the time of entry or via the contact details provided. In such circumstances, National Express must still provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
- By entering the prize draw, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- National Express reserves the right to refuse entry or to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions or whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, National Express, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of National Express, its agents, or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed in accordance with National Express’s Privacy Policy: https://www.nationalexpress.com/en/help/privacy-centre/competition-entrants. See also condition 13 with regard to the announcement of the winner.
- The prize draw will be governed by English law, and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
- No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed, or incomplete entries. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt.
- National Express reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
