Coach Travel from the Airport to Birmingham 

Our partnership with the University of Birmingham makes your journey from the airport to the University easy! Board your coach at London Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, or Manchester Airport, and travel to Birmingham Coach Station for free between 1 and 19 January 2025. To be eligible for this offer, you must be a new International University of Birmingham starting a new programme in January 2025, and will need to be considered to have an unconditional offer (e.g. you have met all entry requirements). You must have booked by Thursday 19 September 2024. Only one voucher code is permitted per student.

How to redeem this offer

• You will need to complete the voucher form to request your voucher code from the University of Birmingham. You will need the following details:

  • Your full name
  • Your student ID number (7-digit number e.g., 1001234)
  • Your email address
  • The airport you are travelling from (Heathrow/Gatwick/Manchester)
  • The date you expect to travel on

Please note that it can take up to 5 working days to receive your voucher code.

• Once you have received your voucher code (via email) from the University of Birmingham, you will be able to select your desired pick-up location, time, and date of travel using the above journey planner. You will need to leave plenty of time between when your flight lands and your coach's departure time. We recommend selecting the ‘Fully Flexible’ ticket so that you can make changes to your booking without incurring a fee and the ‘Change and Go’ which is free for Birmingham students and gives you flexibility if your flight is early or delayed. Please note if you need to make changes to your booking, you will need to contact us by phone (03717 818181) or through our social media channels, as our system will not recognise that you have used a voucher for your booking.

• To continue with your reservation, click 'Checkout as Guest' and complete the 'Your details' section. If you add any 'Extras' at this stage (see details in the Terms and Conditions), they will be charged at the checkout.

• Please note that the free transfer service applies to new international University of Birmingham students only. If you are travelling with a partner, friend, or family members, you can buy additional tickets separately on the National Express website: https://www.nationalexpress.com/en.
