Coach Travel from the Airport to Leicester

Our partnership with the University of Leicester makes travelling from the airport easy! Board your coach at London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted or Birmingham Airports, and travel to the Leicester St Margaret’s Bus Station for free between 1-5 January 2025. To be eligible for this offer, you must be a student joining the University of Leicester Study Abroad programme in January 2025. Please note, there are limited vouchers for this offer, and they will be given out on a first-come first-served basis. Only one voucher code is permitted per student.

How to redeem this offer:

• You will need to email studyabroad@le.ac.uk to request your voucher code from the University of Leicester. Please include the following details in your email:

  • Your full name

  • Your student ID number (9-digit number e.g., 100123456)

  • The date and time of the coach you expect to travel on

  • Subject title: ‘National Express Voucher Code’

• Please note that it can take up to 5 working days to receive your voucher code.

• Once you have received your voucher code (via email) from the University of Leicester, you will be able to select your desired pick-up location, time, and date of travel using the above journey planner. You will need to leave plenty of time between when your flight lands and your coach's departure time. We recommend selecting the ‘Fully Flexible’ ticket so that you can make changes to your booking without incurring a fee.

• To continue with your reservation, click 'Checkout as Guest' and complete the 'Your details' section. If you add any 'Extras' at this stage (see details in the Terms and Conditions), they will be charged at the checkout.

• Please note that the free transfer service applies to new University of Leicester students only. If you are travelling with a partner, friend, or family members, you can buy additional tickets on the National Express website. Please read the Terms and Conditions; see below for more details.
