Our partnership with Nottingham Trent University means travelling from the airport is easy! Board your coach at from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester or Birmingham Airports and travel directly to the centre of Nottingham for free.
How to book your travel
- This offer is for new students only and it is limited to one ticket per new NTU student.
- Select your pick-up location and date of travel using the journey planner.
- Choose a direct service if available.
- Choose the time you would like to travel. We advise allowing a minimum of 2 hours between landing and the coach departure time, join the coach queue 20-30 minutes before it departs.
- Select the ‘fully flexible’ ticket so that you can make changes to your booking without paying a fee.
- Continue to the 'extras' page. Many students have more luggage than the National Express allowance. Please check the dimensions and weights of your luggage and add any additional luggage to the booking. Please note any 'extras' will be charged at checkout.
- Select ‘checkout as guest'.
- Enter your name and email address to receive your e-ticket.
- If you are bringing a guest, they need to book and pay for a ticket on the National Express website. This offer is limited to one ticket per new NTU student.

If you have any questions about our airport transfer service or your arrival into Nottingham Trent University, please contact international@ntu.ac.uk stating your full name and student ID number and using the subject line: 'Travel Query'.
- Only valid for new international students enrolling to study a full-time course at Nottingham Trent University.
- 6-12 January 2025 (all Science and Technology or MA Nursing courses).
- 13-19 January 2025 (all Nottingham Business School or MA Social Work courses).
- Only valid for travel from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham Airports.
- Any extras such as luggage or seat reservations are not included in the NTU discount. If required, you will need to add these to the booking and pay for them by card on the payment screen. Please check the National Express full luggage policy for further information.
- Must book a minimum of two days prior to travelling.
- Tickets are fully flexible.
