1. THE PROMOTER
The promoter is NATIONAL EXPRESS LIMITED of National Express House, Birmingham Coach Station, Mill Lane, Digbeth, Birmingham, England B5 6DD (referred to as “we” or “us” in terms and conditions).
2. THE PRIZE DRAW
The title of the prize draw is “National Express 50 Day Giveaway”.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The prize draw will run from 09:00 am on Thursday 25 August 2022 to midnight on Thursday 13 October 2022 (inclusive) (the “Prize Draw Period”).
3.2 The Closing Date for the purposes of these terms and conditions shall be midnight on Thursday 13 October 2022. All prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3 For each day of the Prize Draw Period:
3.3.1 an individual prize from the pool of prizes listed below will be randomly selected by a computer process that produces variable results (the “Daily Prize”); and
3.3.2 a winner will be randomly selected from the total entries received for each Daily Prize by a computer process that produces variable results (the “Daily Prize Draw”).
3.4 To enter a Daily Prize Draw:
3.4.1 entries must be received by us by no later than 23:59 hours on the day of relevant Daily Prize Draw (the “Daily Prize Draw Closing Date”); and
3.4.2 any entries received after the Daily Prize Draw Closing Date shall automatically be included in the next Daily Prize Draw.
3.5 Each Daily Prize Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
3.6 We will not accept:
3.6.1 responsibility for any prize draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
3.6.2 proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.
3.7 By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.8 The winner of each Daily Prize Draw will be randomly selected from the total entries received for each Daily Prize Draw by a computer process that produces variable results by no later than five (5) working after the Daily Prize Draw Closing Date.
4.1 The Daily Prize Draw is only open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except our employees and employees of our group companies (and members of their respective households and families).
4.2 In entering a Daily Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Daily Prize Draw.
4.3 For each Daily Prize Draw, there is a limit of one prize draw entry per person per day. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.4 We reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
4.5 We will not return prize draw entries to you.
5. THE PRIZE
5.1 The prizes comprise the following:

This totals fifty (50) individual prizes.
5.2 The prize allocated for each Daily Prize Draw is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered any prize.
5.3 We reserve the right to replace a prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4 The passes for travel on National Express UK coach services (excluding Northern Ireland) are subject to availability on the chosen service and our General Conditions of Carriage, available at https://www.nationalexpress.com/en/help/conditions-of-carriage.
5.5 All other prizes will be subject to the relevant third party’s terms and conditions.
6.1 The winner of the each Daily Prize Draw will be notified by telephone and/or email within five (5) working days of the date of the Daily Prize Draw Closing Date using the contact details provided on the prize draw entry (the “Daily Announcement Date”). If notified by telephone, we will send you a follow-up email requesting relevant details so that we can send the prize to you.
6.2 Our decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.3 We must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, we will send the surname and county of each prize winner and, if applicable, a copy of their entry, to anyone who emails firstname.lastname@example.org or writes to National Express at National Express House, Birmingham Coach Station, Mill Lane, Digbeth, Birmingham, England B5 6DD (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the Closing Date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please notify email@example.com and/or firstname.lastname@example.org. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
7.1 In order to claim a prize, winners must respond to our email and provide relevant details so that we can send the prize to them.
7.2 Please allow up to seven (7) working days from the date of the winner’s response for delivery of the prize. Prizes will be sent via email or standard mail, as appropriate. We do not accept any responsibility for any lost deliveries.
7.3 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
7.4 We will make all reasonable efforts to contact winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within three (3) working days of the notification of being selected, we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the prize draw entries received by 23:59 hours on the day of relevant Daily Prize Draw.
7.5 We do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Insofar as is permitted by law, we, our agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by our negligence or negligence of our agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. OWNERSHIP OF PRIZE DRAW ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All prize draw entries and any accompanying material submitted to us will become our property on receipt and will not be returned.
10. DATA PROTECTION
We will only process your personal information as set out in our Privacy Notice available at https://www.nationalexpress.com/en/help/privacy-centre/50-day-giveaway.
11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
11.2 We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
