Know where you stand
Please see below for terms & conditions regarding your departure day bus pass, arrival day bus pass and free city centre transfers.
Departure day bus pass terms & conditions
- The pass will be valid on your date of departure and is redeemable by displaying your National Express coach ticket (which will have the bus pass listed) to the driver when you board any local National Express bus.
- Please note children under the age of 5 are entitled to travel free on our local bus network. If purchased online, alongside a child’s coach ticket, children aged between 3-5 will be charged full price/£1.50.
- Senior and disabled passengers with a valid ENCTS pass are entitled to travel for free on local buses across England.
- NX Bus standard disabled policy will apply. Download here.
- If insurance is added to your journey, this will not include the local bus journeys
- Coachcard discounts are not available with the 1 day bus pass

Free city centre transfer terms & conditions
- The pass will be valid on your date of arrival.
- Simply show your National Express coach ticket (which will have the bus transfer listed) to the driver when you board any city-bound bus from the bus stop in Digbeth immediately outside Birmingham Coach Station.
- The free transfer is only valid for a single journey to the city centre stops in Park Street, Moor St Queensway and Carrs Lane.
- The free transfer is only valid during the hours of operation of the bus service.
