We all have our favourite destinations that we travel to time and time again. They could be a special place from our childhood, a romantic location or even just a holiday destination. As Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and we’re all about sharing the love, we thought we would show you the places we love to travel to!
The Merseyside city has culture and history at its heart and is full of fantastic places to explore and experience with someone special. Whether it’s Liverpool’s buzzing nightlife, remarkable sports events and teams or the incredibly friendly people, you’ll be wanting to return again and again.
The cherry on top of the Liverpool cake is definitely the Royal Albert Dock. Home to an array of amazing restaurants, the world’s largest permanent Beatles Exhibition and even the Merseyside Maritime Museum. A short trip down the road also takes you to the trendy Baltic Triangle, with its cool cafes, hangouts and studios. There's plenty to do and see, even a Peaky Blinders themed bar!
Our second city has to be on our list of the places we love in the UK. With so many diverse attractions and events, Birmingham has the perfect variety for all to enjoy any time of the year. If somehow the main attractions such as the Bullring, the Selfridges Building, or even Cadbury World don't tempt you, Brum’s many hidden gems will!
It’s not all shopping and chocolate you know, Birmingham has a plethora of trendy spots. The Jewellery Quarter is home to some amazing eateries and bars, The Button Factory is a big favourite with locals and the roof terrace gives you a great view of the city.
Birmingham is the perfect destination for all ages, big and small kids alike. If you're looking for some family fun the ThinkTank Museum is a great place to start. With plenty of interactive exhibits and activities, your little ones can play as they learn. Or if that doesn’t tickle their fancy there is the ever-popular Legoland Discovery Centre!
Of course, the capital makes our list of places we love in the UK! How can you not love London? Its many boroughs are filled with unbelievable sights, sounds, and tastes around every corner.
No visit is the same as the last and there are always unique, entertaining events going on across the city. From sports, fashion to even the National Puddle Jumping Championships, the capital is like no other city!
London is a tourist's dream with an array of landmarks and attractions from The London Eye and Houses of Parliament to the incredible Natural History Museum and The London Dungeons. Did you know there are over 190 museums in London? Now that’s a lot of knowledge!
When it comes to food and drink, London is like a mini around the world trip. With so many cultures and nationalities in one place, you can feast on almost any cuisine. Head to Covent Garden for Japanese, American and Italian food and more from a whole host of amazing restaurants.
From the big cities to the beach… Brighton is definitely one of the places we love in the UK and its beautiful beach is one of many reasons. As one of the most colourful, creative and lively cities in the UK, there's tons to do in Brighton for all the family. Why not head to Brighton’s Open Market for wonderful local produce, crafts and more from over 50 independent stores.
If you’re looking for adventure, Brighton Zip is a big favourite. Zip wire across the Brighton Seafront and take in the sights on this adrenaline-filled thrill ride. Or maybe you’d prefer to keep your feet on the ground? If that’s the case then Globalls glow in the dark mini golf is a perfect choice.
When it comes to good food Brighton definitely delivers, with loads of great local eateries like The Walrus, which offers delicious takes on contemporary and classic dishes. From fish and chips to Confit Duck, there's a variety of tasty choices to excite your taste buds.
