National Express is currently unable to serve Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Stockbridge and Langsett. For customers travelling to these areas: Northbound customers will stop at Nottingham, and be transferred to Leeds via Manchester. Customers travelling south will stop at Leeds, people travelling further south of Leeds will be diverted via M62 / M6. Cross country services from the Midlands to Yorkshire will stop at Derby. We are operating a near-normal Cross-Pennine coach service between Hull, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool Some customers may be required to change coaches at Birmingham. Heather McDonald, Head of Customer Experience said, "We are working extremely hard to get customers to their end destination. Extra staff have been deployed to these locations to help customers with onward travel arrangements. We would like to thank customers for their understanding and co-operation at this time". Heavy traffic is now expected on all main routes in the North of England and delays are to be expected. Customers affected by these disruptions can amend their National Express ticket free of charge.
