Hitting the hot spots - Eurolines unveils its top destinations in EuropeGreat fares, relaxing journeys and 500 destinations across Europe12 November 2007 Eurolines UK has seen a twenty percent increase in the number of passengers heading for Paris in 2007 ensuring it retains first place on the list of the company's most popular destinations in Europe. The international scheduled coach operator, part of National Express, unveiled its top destinations in 2007 at the World Travel Market at Exel, London today. Additional night time services to both Paris and Amsterdam in the busy summer season helped to confirm both cities as favourites with coach travellers, whilst a new direct service to Prague helped to increase the Czech capital's appeal. Other cities high on the list include Dublin, Brussels and Barcelona, all popular for short breaks. The company says it has seen the number of passengers increase as travellers look for alternatives to congested airports, early flight check-in times and security delays. John Gilbert, Managing Director of Eurolines UK said: "It's good to see that our innovations are bringing results and have proved popular with our customers. On Paris and Amsterdam in particular, our enhanced passenger experience, Eurolines Plus, is certainly appreciated." "It is clear that Eurolines ultra low cost fares continue to be attractive, especially amongst younger travellers who can make the most of their European experience thanks to our consistently good value fares." - Ends - Notes to editors:
