The Automatic, Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth
Welsh rockers The Automatic will be bringing their brand of guitar-based pop sounds to Portsmouth next month.
The band will be performing at the Wedgewood rooms on April 28th in the seaside city as part of their ongoing tour of the British Isles.
Having released their debut album in November 2005, the band came crashing into public consciousness with their massive-selling and catchy single 'Monster', which reached number four in the charts.
Since their early success, the band has refreshed their line-up and the new songs are reported to be darker and edgier than their previous work.
A report from the NME last month revealed that indecision among The Automatic ranks meant that they turned to their fans via their MySpace site to find out which songs they wanted to hear.
So the set-list for the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth might yet be unconfirmed but anyone making the trip will be glad to know that National Express will be running its coach services to the town from locations across the country.
