Maroon 5, Birmingham NEC

American college rockers Maroon 5 play Birmingham in December in support of their much praised new album It Won't Be Soon Before Long.

Hailing from Los Angeles the soul influenced band burst onto the music scene, scoring huge hits with This Love, She Will Be Loved and Harder to Breathe.

Since then they have consolidated their success with their second set debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, while lead single Makes Me Wonder was the top selling single and video on iTunes.

It Won't Be Soon Before Long showcases a more contemporary sound for the band, bearing the influence of modern urban music as well as ragga star Shabba Ranks and 1980s icons Talking Heads, Michael Jackson and Prince.

Maroon 5 will be appearing at the Birmingham NEC on December 1st.
