Goodyear Fireworks Spectacular, Birmingham

Pyrotechnics, lasers, music and special effects are promised at two special large-scale fireworks displays in Birmingham in November.

Taking place on November 3rd at Pype Hayes Park, this year's show will be choreographed to music, and also boasts a huge, roaring bonfire - to be lit by the mayor of Birmingham to signal the beginning of the festivities.

Meanwhile, at Alexander Stadium on November 4th, as well as the fireworks, further entertainment will come from a roadshow hosted by presenters of Birmingham's Heart FM and a funfair.

A local arts group will also be present for the staging an enthralling 40-minute show called Day and Night, which precedes the evening's display.
