National Express operate four Leeds bus and coach stations. Dyer Street Coach Station is owned and managed by Metro and is situated between Quarry Hill, home to the West Yorkshire Playhouse, and Kirkgate Market - the largest covered market in Europe, attracting more than 100,000 visitors a week! Originally a series of steel and concrete bus shelters, Leeds central bus station was revamped back in 1996, and now features a modern glass roof, with two entrances: one on York Street and the other in Dyer Street. Leeds central coach station has a bus information office, toilets, a cafe, a newsagents, together with take away snacks. Just a stone throw away from the hub of the city, your travel expedition commences at Leeds city bus station!
Bramley bus station in Leeds lies on Stanningley Road, just outside and opposite the Venerable Bede Church of England, with a post office, newsagents, toilet facilities and banks located nearby. The birthplace to a great deal of 19th century architecture, Bramley is an old industrial area of Leeds and is dominated by Bramley Shopping Centre - a 1960s-style concrete plaza.
Overlooked by a water tower just north of the city, Moortown Leeds Coach Station is sited on Harrogate Road, near Moortown Ring Road. This civil parish and electoral suburb of Leeds isn't far from the small shopping centre at Moortown Corner, otherwise known as Corner House. Also by Moortown Corner is a large Marks & Spencer Simply Food supermarket, Leeds Building Society, Yorkshire Bank and Halifax.
