Cambridge Coach Station is spread along Drummer Street, right next to the green spaces of Christ's Pieces and in the shadow of the beautiful Emmanuel College. A short walk down Emmanuel Street and you're standing in front of the Grand Arcade, Cambridge's most recent, and most impressive, shopping centre. And the beauty of Cambridge is that, because the city centre is so small, within a few minutes of alighting at Cambridge Coach Station, you can be almost anywhere you want to be.
Small, friendly and stress-free
Cambridge Coach Station is very user-friendly, with well laid out bays, regularly cleaned toilets, and a helpdesk, capably run by at least two staff (usually three), who will bend over backwards to ensure your journey and departure run as smoothly as possible.
The coach station has well-stocked vending machines - but our hot tip is Savino's Café, right alongside Cambridge Coach Station, which serves excellent coffee (perfect for those early morning starts), perfect paninis, and a healthy dose of Italian cheer.
Buses in all directions
As well as welcoming regular National Express Services from all over the country, Cambridge Coach Station is a busy local transport hub, from which you can jump on a bus to any corner of the city, or even further afield. It's also the perfect place to catch a ride on one of the city's fleet of open-top buses, if you want to see the sights in style, with commentary in nine different languages. There's even a free City Centre Shuttle bus service, which will take you from Cambridge Coach Station to all the major landmarks and shopping areas, within minutes.
