Zucchero, Symphony Hall, Birmingham
European rock-star Zucchero, real name Adelmo Fornaciari, will be performing at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham on December 3rd until the 8th.
His website claims he is "the only Italian international star" and the singer has released 11 studio albums.
The Guardian describes his music as cheesy, but says: "When your cheese repertoire is as vast and comprehensive and deftly delivered as Zucchero's, how can you fail?"
According to his website, the rocker began playing during the 1970s and was part of a number of bands including I Duca and Le Nuove Luci.
He joined Festival di Castrocaro-winning group Taxi in 1980 and released songs including Canto Te and Castrocaro over the three years he remained part of the band.
Collaborations the singer has taken part in include work with Miles Davis, Paul Young and Elton John.
Most recently, Zucchero released E' Delicate and a best-of album entitled All the Best.
