Yo La Tengo, Concorde 2, Brighton
Indie rockers Yo La Tengo come to Brighton this week as part of a short tour of smaller, more intimate venues.
The American three-piece band follows a recent date at the Royal Festival Hall in London with an appearance at the Concorde 2 on September 12th.
As well as highlights from their 20-year plus history, the band's show is expected to include intermissions in which they will tell stories from their career. They have also promised plenty of opportunity for audience interaction.
Yo La Tengo are as well known for their contributions to film soundtracks, having composed a number of original pieces for the US director Hal Hartley and have also scored Jean Penleves undersea documentary the Sounds of Science.
Address: Concorde 2, Madeira Drive, Brighton BN2 1EN
