Worthing Wrestling Spectacular, Worthing Assembly Hall
Some of the biggest names in UK wrestling visit Bournemouth this month for the Worthing Wrestling Spectacular.
The bill for the event includes The Liverpool Lad, Robbie Brookside, the Wonder Kid Jonny Storm, local favourite James Tighe and the controversial Andy Boy Simmonz, but the main attraction is set to be Thunder - the self-styled Weapon of Mass Destruction.
Thunder made his name as a tag-team partner of UK grappling legend Giant Haystacks and has since become one of the biggest draws on the British wrestling scene.
Meanwhile, Thunder's habit of favouring a Phantom of the Opera-style mask during bouts, making him as enigmatic as he is popular, recalls the famous Mexican grapplers recently made famous by the movie Nacho Libre.
Address: Worthing Assembly Hall, Stoke Abbott Road, Worthing, BN11 1HQ.
The event takes place October 22nd.
