WWT Slimbridge Wetlands Centre, nr Bristol

World Famous conservation centre the WWT Slimbridge Wetlands Centre has added two new attractions this autumn.

As well as the chance to see the largest collection of waterfowl in the world, visitors the Slimbridge centre will now be able visit the Great Crane Project - a new interactive crane school where they can don a disguise and view cranes being reared, as well help the team walk the cranes to school.

Meanwhile, the Slimbridge site has also added a new amphibian attraction, housing frogs, toads, newts, salamanders, a fearsome American bullfrog called Mr Custard, the colourful but deadly Poison Arrow Frogs and an Axolotl, a rare newt which remains as a giant tadpole for the duration of its life.

The centre is open all year round, with the exception of Christmas Day.
