Traditional Scandinavian Christmas Market, Cardiff
Laden with fine foods and novel handmade goods, the Traditional Scandinavian Christmas Market will offer an alternative to high street homogeneity later this month when it appears for two days at Cardiff's Norwegian Church Arts Centre.
Visitors to the event can expect to find Christmas cards, traditional decorations and gifts on hundreds of stalls.
Meanwhile, the host of food stalls will afford attendees a rare chance to sample archetypal Scandinavian seasonal fare such as Pinnekjott, - smoked and salted lamb - and rice cream.
The event takes place from November 16th-18th.
The centre will also be hosting a free-to-attend Christmas lantern procession led by Santa Claus on November 10th, which promises fireworks, mulled wine and mince pies.
