The White Stripes, Manchester
The White Stripes are to bring their punk-blues to Manchester Evening News Arena on Thursday October 25th.
The tour is the first since songwriter Jack White reconvened with drummer and former-partner Meg after touring the world with his side project the Raconteurs.
Attendees can expect to hear tracks from the band's new album Icky Thump - named a famous sketch from comedy trio the Goodies - and a host of their hits including Blue Orchid, Fell In Love With A Girl and Seven Nation Army.
Tickets are priced £27.50 (not including booking fee).
Other artists set to appear at the venue in the forthcoming months include Rihanna, Incubus and Gwen Stefani.
