The Streets, O2 Academy, Birmingham
The Streets will be returning to their Midlands roots to entertain Birmingham audiences on September 12th.
Brummy-born Mike Skinner is bringing his rap outfit to the city's O2 Academy as part of their 2009 gig offering.
So far this summer, The Streets have played in Brighton, Switzerland and Glastonbury, which Skinner describes on his blog as "an amazing thing".
He said playing at the festival was one of the best gigs of his life, so those travelling to Birmingham for the September show will be hoping his exceptional form continues.
Organisers said The Streets will come to Birmingham "armed with tracks from their magnificent back catalogue and latest top 10 record Everything is Borrowed".
Tickets for the Birmingham O2 Academy show cost £16.50 and doors open at 7pm.
