The Pussycat Dolls, NIA, Birmingham

Fans of American pop group The Pussycat Dolls might want to travel down to the National Indoor Arena (NIA) in Birmingham on January 22nd of next year.

They are described by record label A and M Records as "extraordinarily beautiful", "with tremendous voices" and working with top writers and producers.

Lead singer Nicola Scherzinger says the group is supposed to be empowering, possessing fearlessness and vulnerability.

"The Pussycat Dolls are not just about being hot but also about saying something with real feeling," she claims.

For those who have missed their albums and videos, they might also be recognisable from spots on the soundtrack of Shark Tale in 2004, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle in 2003 and in fellow musician Pink's Trouble.

The band have starred in collaborations with Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Pamela Anderson.

Girls Aloud recently announced they will also be playing gigs at the NIA in Birmingham, on May 20th, 21st and also on June 1st next year.
