What's on guide
The Police, Birmingham NEC
Post-punkers the Police bring their reggae-influenced guitar pop to Birmingham NEC for two nights next month.
The reformed band's tour is the first since Sting and co split acrimoniously in 1984 and marks the 30th anniversary of the band forming in 1977.
Early dates on the tour have been marked by a joyful celebratory atmosphere as the band rattle through era-defining hits such as Message in a Bottle, Don't Stand So Close To Me, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, Walking On The Moon and Roxanne.
Tickets for the September 4 and 5th dates are on sale now, priced £28.50, not including booking fee.
Other forthcoming concerts at the NEC include local favourites UB40, hugely popular guitar popsters McFly and Gwen Stefani.
