The Maccabees, O2 Academy, Birmingham
Fans of English indie band The Maccabees are in for a treat when the five-piece group comes to the Midlands.
Performing at Birmingham's O2 Academy on October 1st 2009, the Londoners are guaranteed to impress supporters.
They will be performing tracks from their two albums including their most recent single Can You Give It.
Popular tracks like Toothpaste Kisses, About Your Dress and First Love are also sure to be played.
The Maccabbees' debut album Colour It In propelled the group onto the UK music scene when it reached number 24 on the charts and was followed by Wall Of Arms, which got to 13.
After the group's UK tour in October, which also sees them play in Bristol, Leeds, London and Newcastle, they are set to tour Europe as a support act for The Editors.
The Birmingham rock band is famous for the huge hits Munich, Blood and An End Has A Start.
