The Lion King
Having remained ensconced at the Lyceum Theatre for over seven years, Disney's superlative adaptation of the Lion King is now something of a West End fixture.
This musical stage production of the tale of Simba, a young lion cub, coming of age and accepting the responsibilities of adulthood is a riot of colour and showcases spectacular feats of staging. The show has justifiably proved a hit with adults and children alike.
The show features the original score composed by Elton John and Tim Rice which spawned the hit single Circle of Life and has garnered a number of awards including an Ivor Novello Music Award, two Laurence Olivier Awards and one Evening Standards award.
Tickets are priced between £22.50 and £65 (not including booking fee).
Address: Lyceum Theatre, 21 Wellington Street, WC2E 7RQ.
