The Gadget Show Live, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham
Men are commonly known for their love of gadgets, so those who insist on having the latest novelty devices might consider visiting an entire show dedicated to the newest of technologies.
In April, The Gadget Show Live heads to Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and will offer guests a hands-on experience of the most advanced devices under development.
All sorts of technologies will be on offer, ranging from home cinema tools to computer games.
The use of the term gadget first emerged in the 1850s, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, but is now commonly regarded as a cleverly-designed piece of technology that is ahead of its time.
A range of features on show at the NEC seek to exemplify with this trend. One will be based on the concept of the future home and will display the latest technologies that could transform the lounges, kitchens and bedrooms of the future.
