The Four Tops and the Temptations, Cardiff International Arena
The Four Tops and The Temptations will bring the raw soul, smart tailoring and good times of Tamla Motown's 1960s revue shows to Cardiff later this month as part of a nationwide tour.
Signed to Berry Gordy's Detroit-based imprint in its heyday, The Four Tops burst onto American radio with Baby I Need Your Loving in 1964, before going on to score huge hits with Reach Out, I'll Be There, Standing in the Shadows of Love and Sugar Pie Honey Bunch.
In the form of the highly charged singles Get Ready and Ain't Too Proud to Beg, The Temptations were equally successful and after Stevie Wonder have enjoyed the second-longest stint as a Motown-affiliated act.
The bands will be appearing at Cardiff's International Arena for one night only on November 17th.
Address: Cardiff International Arena (CIA), Mary Ann Street, Cardiff, CF10 2EQ.
