The Drifters, Bournemouth International Centre
Classic Motown vocal group the Drifters bring over 50 years of hits to Bournemouth in September as part of a nationwide tour.
Famous for having provided a springboard for such vocal talents as Johnny Moore and Ben E King of Stand By Me-fame, the Drifters were one of the Motown roster's most popular acts thanks to a parade of hits which included Saturday Night at the Movies; Under The Boardwalk; Come On Over To My Place; Kissin' In The Back Row Of The Movies.
The Drifters will play the Bournemouth International Centre on October 4th.
Other forthcoming events at the Bournemouth International Centre include live performances from acoustic singer-songwriter Damien Rice, The Hollies and rockers Incubus, as well as stand-up comedy from Alan Carr and Sean Hughes.
