The Coral, Carling Academy, Bristol

Loveable Scousers, The Coral will be appearing at Bristol's Carling Academy on October 9th.

The band have just released their fourth album, Roots and Echoes, recorded in Noel Gallagher's personal studio by personal invitation, and the record marks a new era for a more grown-up Coral, with a more soulful, tighter sound.

However, fans can expect to see the psychedelic sea shanties which propelled the Coral to fame in 2002, when they released their self-titled debut album, which spawned massive hits like Skeleton Key and Dreaming of You.

The band have always had a reputation as a great live act, and having taken time to relax, regroup and recharge, fans should expect the best from The Coral on this tour.
