What's on guide
Steven Berkoff, Brighton Dome
Actor, director, film star, author and master of character acting, Steven Berkoff returns to Brighton Dome to perform his retelling of Tell-Tale Heart, along with his own Dog.
Berkoff's performance of Shakespeare's Villains was a sell-out at the venue last year, and this time around looks to be no less of a success as the multi-talented star of productions as diverse as Bond film Octopussy and Kafka's In the Penal Colony returns to Brighton.
Tell-Tale Heart is Berkoff's take on Edgar Allan Poe's unsettling gothic classic, while Dog is a self-penned examination of the mind and soul of a football hooligan and his dog, and an invective on the state of British society.
The one-off, one-man performance on September 20th promises to be no less than electric, as Berkoff delivers his trademark blend of character performance and mime that is both humorous and disturbing in equal measure.
