Skate at Somerset House, London

The palatial environs of Somerset House will once again be given over to an ice rink later this month for the annual Skate at Somerset House event.

As well as the chance to skate in the courtyard of one of London's most handsome buildings, this year the programme at Somerset House also includes special DJ nights throughout November and January.

Meanwhile, Saturday mornings will features a specially designated Children's Hour, while workers will be able to escape the rigours of office life in the form of flexible weekday sessions.

Visitors will be able to skate at Somerset House from November 21st until January 27th.

Other venues hosting special skating events in London over the festive season include Kew Gardens, The Tower of London and the Natural History Museum.
