Radiance, International Festival of Light, Glasgow

Glasgow will be illuminated by spectacular light installations later this month as the city hosts the inaugural Radiance, International Festival of Light event.

Set to be held every two years, the event will this year see light installations located at various points around the city - transforming Glasgow's familiar streetscape.

Among this year's highlights are pieces from international artist Xavier de Richmont, whose work will be on show at Glasgow Cathedral.

Also set to attract the crowds is Dave Bryant's 186 Human Generator, an interactive exhibit, which will task visitors with using their own energy to power the illuminations as well as contributions from world-famous lighting designers Simon Corder and David Batchelor.

Children are catered for in the form of a treasure hunt game based around the location of the installations.

Radiance takes place at locations throughout Glasgow from November 25th to 27th.
