Pop Art Is...Gagosian Gallery, London
Art from leading Pop Artists Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol and Jasper Johns features in a brand new exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the revolutionary artistic movement.
The Pop Art Is exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery marks 50 years since Richard Hamilton, a pop artist himself, coined the term, which he defined as art that is transient, gimmicky and glamorous.
Alongside iconic pieces from the original pop artists, contributions from the new generation of the movement will also be on show in the form of works by Damien Hirst and Rachel Harrison, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and Nate Lowman.
The exhibit runs until November 10th.
Address: Gagosian Gallery, 4 -24 Britannia St, Camden, London WC1X.
