Pirates of Penzance, Theatre Royal, Brighton
A brand new production of Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance comes to the Theatre Royal in Brighton next week.
A hilarious tale of love and camaraderie set in Cornwall, the musical tells the story of a band of orphaned pirates' battle to win the affection of the Major General's daughter and her friends, whom they have spied swimming.
The show includes the much-loved songs I am the Very Model of a Modern Major General, A Policeman's Lot is Not a Happy One and I am the Pirate King.
The Carl Rosa Company's new production follows successful revivals of The Merry Widow and the Mikado and runs from September 11th-15th.
Address: Theatre Royal Brighton, New Road, Brighton, BN1 1SD.
