What's on guide
Open House, London
Over 600 privately-owned buildings around London will be open to the public this weekend for this year's Open House event.
Taking place on September 15th and 16th, participating institutions include University College London, which houses the Strang Print Room's haul of 10,000 fine art objects, and the charming art-deco Gala bingo hall in Tooting.
Visitors will also be given a rare opportunity to see inside Lambeth Palace, which has been the home of the Archbishop of Canterbury since the 13th century and the Biggin Hill Airfield, which contains a number of installations surviving from its role in the Battle of Britain.
Entrance to all participating buildings is free.
