Motorhead, Joan Jett and Alice Copper, Glasgow SECC

Motorhead, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Alice Cooper have joined forces for a UK tour, stopping off in Glasgow in November.

The three rock legends have each carved their way into heavy metal's rich tapestry over the course of the last 30 years and are touring together as part of a line-up that would once have struck fear into wary promoters.

In the 1970s, Alice Cooper fused the form with glam rock swagger and for a series of shock-rock hits, while Motorhead and Joan Jett injected the genre with a new, abrasive punk rock spirit.

The concert takes place on November 7th.

Other forthcoming events at the Glasgow SECC include live appearances from Arcade Fire, Kaiser Chiefs and 50 Cent and stand-up comedy from Frank Skinner.
