Lynyrd Skynyrd, National Indoor Arena, Birmingham
American Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd are coming to Birmingham.
Performing at the National Indoor Arena on May 28th, the rock legends are only playing for four dates in the UK, including venues in London, Manchester and Glasgow.
The massive Sweet Home Alabama, Freebird, and Red White and Blue are just some of the tracks that the rockers will be performing.
Rolling Stone magazine has named that band, who have sold over 26 million CD's, one of the greatest of all time and the Recording Industry Association of America ranked them as one of the best-selling artists ever.
Several members of the band, which became popular in the early seventies, were killed in an airplane crash in 1977, including lead vocalist and songwriter Ronnie Van Zant.
Van Zant's younger brother Johnny took over his late brother's role as front man when the group reformed in the late eighties.
The band have had 11 studio albums, three of which went double platinum, one which was platinum selling, and one which was gold selling.
They play up to 80 live gigs every year.
National Express offers music fans the ability to get to their favourite gigs quickly and comfortably.
