London Games Festival
London plays host to one of Europe's largest video games events this week in the form of the London Games Festival.
The festival comprises a series of events staged all over town, taking in lectures, demonstrations and the most innovative new video games titles, as leading games developers Electronic Arts stage two days of live gaming in the heart of Trafalgar Square.
Among the more unusual highlights is set to be the Videogames Live Concert at the Royal Festival, which will see the London Philharmonic Orchestra play music from top gaming franchises such as Halo, Warcraft, Zelda and Final Fantasy.
The London Games Fringe will also be taking place alongside the festival and features seminars on the more esoteric and cerebral side of gaming along with FUSE 07 at Shepherds Bush Empire, which mixes a battle of the bands contest with a gaming event.
The event is on now and runs until November 2nd at locations all over London.
