Life of a B-Boy, Brighton Centre
A spectacular and wholly original blend of breakdancing and dance theatre comes to Brighton later this month for a Hip-Hop-themed show at the Brighton Dome.
Life of a B-Boy tells the stories of three young dancers as they overcome adversity to go from underdogs to genuine B-Boy contenders - and is punctuated throughout by breathtaking exhibitions of bodypopping, locking and headspins.
The show's cast is composed of world class Hip-Hop dancers Mouse, Stead and Chimp Chilla from the Funkstylerz Dance Company, while live music is provided by DJ G Kut.
Life of a B-Boy is showing for two nights on November 14th and 15th.
Address: Brighton Dome, New Road, Brighton, BN1 1UE.
Further theatrical attraction in Brighton during November and December include A Tale for Winter, Nona Shepphard's re-imaging of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, and Young Hamlet - a one-hour reworking of the Bard's play for a youthful audience.
