Chart star Kate Nash brings her cockney vowel sounds and gum-chewing songs of teenage gripes to Portsmouth this October as part of a nationwide tour.

Described in the Guardian as "a cross between Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen", former-drama student Kate recently gatecrashed the top five with the single Foundations, having previously built up a loyal following through social networking website Myspace.

Throughout the summer, her live set proved a hit at festival appearances at the O2 Wireless and at the Carling Festival Reading, where she appeared on the second-stage and attracted a crowd that extended well beyond the tent's perimeter.
