KT Tunstall, Portsmouth Guildhall

Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter KT Tunstall plays Portsmouth this October as part of a nationwide tour in support of her new album.

KT, who picked up the gong for Best British Female Solo Artist of 2006 and has also been nominated for a Grammy, shot to fame after a headline grabbing appearance on BBC2's Later with Jools Holland show in which a delay pedal was used to stunning effect.

Since then, hit singles such as Black Horse and the Cherry Tree and Suddenly I See from debut album Eye to the Telescope and new effort Hold have attracted a huge fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic as well as the admiration of critics.
