Ice-Skating at Kew Gardens, London
Kew Gardens, London's botanical hotbed, will become a mecca for ice-skating novices and experts alike later this month, with the temporary installation of a mammoth 1,000sqm ice rink.
Located in the shadow of the Temperate House and with a capacity of 250, the rink is the largest of the temporary ice skating facilities that spring up in London during the festive season.
As well as enjoying the skating, visitors will also be able to buy a joint ticket, which will entitle them to walk around the gardens and admire the collections of rare flora and the exhibition of Henry Moore sculptures currently being shown on site.
Visitors will be able to skate at Kew Gardens from November 14th to January 6th.
Address: Kew Gardens, Kew Road, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 3AB.
Other venues hosting special skating events in London over the festive season include Somerset House, The Tower of London and the Natural History Museum.
