Glasgay!, venues throughout Glasgow
Glasgow's annual celebration of gay culture Glasgay! takes place this month; in what promises to be the award-winning event's largest and most impressive show yet.
Running from October 12th to November 11th, the festival takes in theatre, comedy, film, music, dance of visual arts.
Among the attractions this year are stand-up comedy shows from Scott Capurro, Amy Lame, Sistars and Jonathan Mayor who will be appearing at the Stand over the course of the event.
Meanwhile, music will come from acoustic troubadour Carol Laula, who will be previewing her forthcoming album and Mauricio Virgens and Paul MacAlindin, who will be performing a classical concert of contemporary love songs.
Those of a theatrical bent will be able see Johnny's Big Gay Musical a specially commissioned musical about the eternal quest for love as well as Venus as a Boy - a fantasy drama about escape from a turbulent childhood and a quest for knowledge of the divine.
