Electrelane, Brighton Dome

Local legends Electrelane have confirmed they will play a special pre-Christmas gig in Brighton next month.

Since forming in 1998, the all-girl band have established themselves as the Wire magazine favourites thanks to a sound that is equal parts of Sonic Youth-style guitar pyrotechnics and Stereolabesque Krautrock drones.

The gig is set to be Electrelane last for some time, following a recent announcement on their website that they would be taking an indefinite hiatus to allow the band members to pursue solo projects.

The concert takes place on December 1st at the Brighton Dome.
