Danny the Champion of the World, Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth

A stage adaptation of Roald Dahl's Danny the Champion of the World comes to Bournemouth next month for a short run at the Pavilion Theatre.

First published in 1975, Danny the Champion of the World tells the story of a young boy who lives in a caravan with his dad, who it transpires secretly sneaks out at night to poach pheasant.

Upon a rich landowner's discovery of his dad's deeds, however, Danny embarks on a thrilling quest to prevent the demolition of his home and his eviction from the caravan.

Other forthcoming attractions for children in Bournemouth include a special child-friendly adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet from the Shakespeare For Kidz theatre group and a stage production of the top grossing Disney movie High School Musical.

Danny the Champion of the World will be showing in Bournemouth from November 6th-10th.
