Indie legends Cornershop are performing in Birmingham this summer as they celebrate the release of their first album in seven years.
The band, formed in 1992 by brothers Tjinder and Avtar Singh, DAbvid Chambers and Ben Ayres, are sure to impress fans when they play live at the O2 Academy 2 on July 31st 2009.
Brimful of Asha is undoubtedly their most famous hit, the 1997 single went straight to the top of the UK chart when it was remixed by Norman Cook of Fat Boy Slim.
Other massive hits for the boys included Sleep on the Left Side, Lessons Learned From Rocky I to Rocky II, My Dancing Days Are Done and Seetar Man - a split single with Blood Sausage.
Cornershop have received rave reviews for their latest album, Judy Sucks A Lemon From Breakfast, which is currently only available for download.
Their first single from the record, The Roll Off Characteristics (Of History In The Making), was released earlier this week.
