What's on guide
Chinese State Circus, Shooters Hill, London
The Chinese State Circus is playing to packed houses in London until October 28th.
Billed as the "greatest family entertainment ever assembled beyond the Great Wall of China", the show is a different proposition to European circuses and takes in a spectacular blend of martial arts, theatre and acrobatics.
On the night, sword-based stunts and spectacular leaps will come form the Shaolin Wu Chu Warriors, who have adapted their ancient art into a dynamic dramatic display.
Meanwhile, The Human Candelabra will amaze you with her eye-popping body contortions, while back-flipping acrobats will be flying through rotating hoops and propelling terracotta jars from head to head.
Address: Chinese State Circus, 28 Blackheath Common, Shooters Hill Road, London, SE3 7AS
Also currently giving performances in London are the Moscow State Circus and our own Zippo's Circus, which this year features a Wild West theme.
